Description:

AvionX is a GTK 3.2 theme with a few avionics touches tossed in.

What's new in version 1.8 you may ask yourself?
Almost everything! It's a whole new theme!

Rebuilt from the ground up to remove all lingering traces of cobalt blue. (Not that cobalt blue is bad. My Kobalt theme is quite popular!) .
Cobalt blue was traded in for some nice shades of cyan and teal. The "cockpit grey" color hue shifted also.

The scrollbar has been reworked as the non-expanding scroll knob wan't cutting it, it wouldn't travel the full range.
The stepper function was added to the scrollbar, mostly for looks.

The ugly Phillips screws were traded in for better hardware. Menu margins/padding tweaked for better stability.

Mint Cinnamon has added a more contemporary style option to the panels which means that panel buttons don't stretch across the entire panel work area,
The split panels stylishly attach to the popup menus, wherever you may choose to use them.

Gnome shell included.
Xfce, Unity, and Chrome are supported.

Don't forget to install the included menu icon.

Wallpapers are at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Hum , I tried v1.7 but I don't see any difference in XFCE Manjaro. It's the same very dark blue. I think Manjaro Xfce use GTK3. Thanks

Sorry for the inconvenience. Editing GTK2.0 didn't fix everything, but it helped. I was reworking the rest of the elements of the theme for consistency 2 days ago when Manjaro messed up my portable hard drive, it doesn't play well with Mint and Ubuntu. I've wasted 2 days trying to fix it. I had the cinnamon part of theme fixed and was working on GTK 3 when the crash happened and I lost everything. Cinnamon looked way better in a lighter shade of blue. This theme should be wrapped up by the weekend and I will soon be getting a new pc as this one's ten years old.

Yes it is fixed.I have a question and I am about to drive myself crazy with it. I need a plain window manager theme to match the new adwaita dark theme and don't want it a different color then the very top part of the Adwaita dark theme. Can you please shove me in the correct direction to make myself one. I don't know if you have checked the new adwaita dark but it is pretty nice complete theme in xfce beside of course the Xfwm4 theme.

Sure.
XFCE is easy to edit. Swapping out the main 3 colors totally changes the theme.
You need a color picking program first, such as KcolorChooser, or you can use one online.
Next, using root, grab a theme in user/share/themes, make a copy and rename it.
Open the index file in the theme and change the name there, in order for the theme to be found by your theme manager.
Test to see if it loads.
Open up your GTK-2.0, then open up the gtkrc file with a text editor.
Change the background, foreground, and select the colors that you desire.
These are the 3 colors that are displayed by the theme manager.
Don't be afraid to change other colors in there. .
You can always edit your last change if you don't like it.
You need to close and reopen the theme manager to get the theme to compile.
After making a change, load another theme then load yours. to see the changes made.
Remember, backup your work frequently!
armageddon51 is correct. GTK3 adds the icing to the cake.
Some themes don't use it, but you can do more with the new coding.
The GTK-2 is used by many apps, such as GIMP and many of the music manager apps.
Good Luck!

Settings menu is still white and the window buttons on panel and panel preferences but I tell you what is crazy funny. I don't like white themes but I like the way the white looks in my settings from this theme. lol. I request a theme built like this but with dark panel bar and dark whisker menu but with white everything else as in thunar and settings and chrome and such. The request I have stems from the fact that ALL white themes are too too white. I am not a designer but I can tell you that white in a theme does not need to be white. A soft white that is not bright on your eyes is what I am talking about. Just like my settings menu now. I am enclosing a screenshot so you can see. It is just a request. White should not be as in real white on a theme. Too bright and looks terrible. Also accents should be different white. Not all one color. The screen shots tell all. Everything is soft and clear as blank on this white which is not really whit but you'll get the meaning. The chrome theme will look awsome like this. http://imgbox.com/g/uZgpG77WPA Those exact colors .....

Beautiful design. However the very dark blue accent doesn't work for me. I would suggest something softer (Manjaro Xfce). Thanks

I know what you mean. It doesn't really work for me, either. The other thing I'm not pleased with is the menu slider bar. I couldn't get it to scroll over the top of the menu icons. If anyone know how to accomplish this, drop me a line. Thanks for your feedback, armageddon51 !

Try removing the GTK 3.0 and gtk-assets folders. Worked for me. Posting a picture. Sometimes less is better. I ran it in Manjaro-Xfce.

Any luck? I'll install Xfce on a stick and take a look at things as I've only tested on Ubuntu, Mint 19, and Cinnamon Manjaro.

The theme is probably not installed properly, hery9900. Usually the problem is that the theme folder is nested inside another folder after decompressing. When installed correctly, there should be no version info after the name. Eggs are better if you remove the shell first. You got me talking about eggs again.
