This is a very very black modification of
my slickness theme.
I made it cause someone here at gnome-look
asked if I could.
New feature since version 0.3:
You can now choose colors using gnome
theme manager.
It is my very first try at something like this so it might not work exactly as planned.
Feedback of any kind is always welcome :D

0.1 Fixed some bugs, Improved look of overall look, (should be more usable now)
changed look of toolbar and other things.
0.1.1 Fixed a bug where when you renamed a file
in nautilus you couldn't see the cursur.
0.2 Changed the colorscheme a little, a bit brighter now (but it's easier to spot some widgets that has focus etc.)
Some other minor changes.
0.3 You don't like my colorscheme?
choose your own colors in gnome theme manager. (just click restore to defaults
if something goes wrong).
0.3.2 Changed default colorscheme again and
improved the active/selected/normal colorshading
Fixed a bug that made some trayicons to
be drawn 1 pixel too low (Many thanks to
Moomex for that!!!!!!) ,made some minor tweaking to some elements (ie tabs are smaller now).
0.4 Made new scrollbar-sliders (older ones
where hard to spot), made completely new
entry style, fixed some uglyness in genereal. new listheaders. (in the first
screenshot I use macmenu hack version,
but this looks exactly like it except
for the menubar ofc)
0.5 Changed the scrollbarsliders a little,
removed the shadow from inactive fonts (as requested)
,included a fix for firefox (not mine).
0.5.1 Managed to remove the disabled font
shadow on treeview text too, (if you find
it someplace else let me know)
0.5.5 Fixed a bug where gimp showed ugly widgets
and removed the spacing between metacity
buttons.
0.6 Fixed a bug where various apps inherited
the toolbar style.
0.6.2 Fixed more bugs... Gimp should look
fine now.
0.8 Now comes as a full theme package,
Including Taners amazing wallpapaer!!
plus I fixed some bugs and improved some stuff.
0.9 You can now have white input boxes
(as shown on screenshot 2) cause I changed
some color inheritance (combobox now has
different inhertitance and cursor in
box inherits text color).

Dude this is too much too fast.
Anyway this theme is AWESOME.
You may delete/comment these lines on panel.rc file:
class "*Tray*" style "panel"
class "*tray*" style "panel"
widget_class "*Tray*" style "panel"
widget_class "*tray*" style "panel"
widget "*TrayIcon*" style "panel"
This will fix a bug regarding some tray icons being one pixel down in the panel, and it won't screw anything up.

One little criticism though, think there is too much space between the different parts of the menubar in firefox now, the same with nautilus, and the tabs in gnome terminal seem at little too tall. If you provided a version that fixed this I would want to d/l it right away!
Keep up the great work man!

If the color choosing is working good I'll
keep it in future releases also.
If you find something fishy be sure to let me
know so I can fix it :)

the wallpaper is this one:
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Balls?content=73370
I fixed the colorscheme so that you can choose
colors yourself in gnome-theme-manager,
so if it isn't dark enough just choose an
even darker color yourself from there :)
Best regards

as for the rename bug I am aware of it but
I can't seem to fix it :(
I use pcmanfm as file manager myself so I don't experience the bug myself
but I will try to fix it asap.

Yeah! At least I have one theme for having some breaks of my own.
Keep up this excellent work. Sober, and intelligent themes are arriving to gnome-look after all!!
Sadly there isn't a 9th Star [...]
