Last changelog:

2.2.2 probably the last update, this should
fix the message of an engine "" not installed
I can't try it myself if it works (since I don't have
gnome installed) so if anyone would be kind
to let me know if it works, it would be kind :)
This will probably be my last fix as I'm not on
gnome anymore.

2.2.1 Fixed my previous F**kup. (at least I hope so)
(it's been tested on ubunut 7.10). If anyone still
has any kind of problem please be so kind and let me
know!

First really great Work but i have a few problems...

1. The urls in firefox will be completed automatically. I can't read the Urls because they are written with black colour and the "background" is black, too.

2. My Panel on the bottom doesn't show the open programs complete.

I hope you know what I mean and you will excuse my horrible englisch ;)

Thanks!

You mean that the text on the buttons
on the panel get cropped when set under
30px or so? that is going to be fixed in
next version (very soon), as for setting
the (bottom) panel to anything else than 32 px using
this theme will make the panel look
veeeeeery ugly :)

Thanks and glad you got the firefox
problem sorted!

Sorry to bother you again Robert. I have the same problem as halcapote with his applet memory but in my case it's about Exaile's tray icon. Every time I minimize Exaile to tray there's a gray rectangular background under Exaile's icon on the panel (in the tray area of course). Is there a workaround for this ? If necessary I can upload a screen-shot of that. Just let me know.

the panel is awesome man... works OK now (you did great with those lights effects when hovering over)... however that exaile tray icon problem is still there... (not sure why)
also what's that windows logo when you do:
Add to panel > New menu ? -:))

Thanks!

I just installed exaile music player and
I have it minimized to tray and it's working
flawlessly... try to restart x or something, as for the new menu windows logo
I have no clue what that could be :)

Yes, I fixed that exaile stuff (had to install some python-gnome.... I don't know what). And the win logo too... It was because of a different icon package... duh !
So all's fine now. Thanks a lot !

Well, I'm back on this one instead of the black version (on battery a lot, can't see when it's all black). Probably the ONLY white-based monochrome theme that doesn't look like total ass. LOVE the buttons and scrollbars.

Of course, I still have to deal with the slight issue of the emerald theme not really mixing with any windows that have no menu bar (Sonata, firefox with the proper extension), but it's a minor thing and frankly I can't see how that could be "fixed" since most of the time it looks so dynamite.

Well thank you!!

Glad you like it!

I see what you mean about the windows without
a menubar.... but , in my opinion, if I create
different look for titlebar, menubar and
toolbar, it will make the window look
very bloated and hard to understand...
The thing I tried to create with this
theme was a theme that would be both dark
,something different and easy to read :)

I tried several looks before I came up with
this one, I have been working on others
too but nothing worth sharing :)

Thanks!

That's what I mean. The thing that makes it only 99.5% right instead of 100% is also what gives the theme its unique charm. A bother to a small degree, but not enough so that I'd want you to change that.

After all, it just looks so damn cool when put together!

Well, u rock man. Solved awn problem in some minutes.

By the way i would make some suggestions:

1.- Give users the options to have a transparent panel. Don't know if it's complicated but would be really nice. I'm not saying i dont like the panel how it is. But it would be a good option. I personally only use the panel for the systray so having it transparent would rock.

2.- Make a keep above button for the emerald theme. It's a really usefull button. Just to give an idea take a look at the keep above button in the radial theme.

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/radial?content=71352

As i said those above are just suggestions. If they are not hard to implement they would rock.

And as i said in previous posts keep that good work going on. Your theme rocks.

This version shouldn't have any problems
awn....

Those implementations you talked about
are as far as I know impossible to implement :)

Thanks again!

You can get transparent panels. You need to add "dock" and then the value you want under the opacity settings of general in Compiz-Fuzion.

This is awesome man ! Really great ! Only one question though:
I have the same problem with that windows list text on the panel. If I set the panel size to 32 pixels or above works fine... anything below (I use to keep it 24) and it gets cut off... I downloaded Sunday. Will you update the fix or am I missing something ?

Anyway, thanks for this wonderful theme !

Best regards,

Conu
