His this wont install on my ubuntu 9.1

im not to familier wih linux but im trying!

this theme looks perfect and any help would be appreiciated

I can install some themes, but only the gtk 2 ones, the rest arent recognised

I really like the theme! Good colors and high contrast. I installed it and it's working OK, however I get this error message:

This theme will not look as intended because the required GTK+ theme engine '' is not installed.

I'm running Easy Peasy (fork of Ubuntu 8.10) - what am I missing?

Open synaptic package manager and in the
quick search window type in gtk2-engines
and mark for installation then apply
or download and setup Ubuntu 9.4
I hope this helps

hi, i just looked up easy peasy and it
is for a Netbook with limited use
and i do not know if you can install
GTK+ engine or if it even has synaptic
package manger.. A Netbook is as far as
i can tell just for browsing the web
and NOT much more then that...

I like it!!

but,I have a problem.I want to use this theme with "mac menu",But the background pattern of mac menu is not brilliant　"Silver".What should I do to apply the cchange to this theme?

Hi,

Nice theme.
Can you change the window scroll bar and progress bar to match the pink/red color- then it would be awesome.

Did you just added a word so your theme would go back first the in GTK 2.x category?

Hello,

I really like your theme that I'm using it on both my laptop and my office desktop.

I only found two issues that really matter to me. The progress bars are not showing in some areas. For instance if you open the system monitor and go to the file systems tab, the progress bars are not shown along with the percentage.

The second issue appeared in the gnome menu editor, the the add/edit entry dialog box has the panel style (same background).

I didn't really try to play with it and see if I can fix it myself, but I'll try in the weekend if you don't fix it by then.

So, wanna race me to it ? LOL

uhm, yeah, actually that reminds me that - if i'm completely honest - the progress bar is maybe the thing i like least about your theme...

yeah, of course you're right - my criticism wasn't exactly constructive or helpful.

in general i like that the theme is very gentle, but i guess progress-bars in a single color (maybe instead just a very gentle pink) could suite the theme better - i can't remember seeing gradients anywhere else in your theme...

I like your style.

Minimal with subtle flare. I like the contrast quality, although I might use a little more saturation with the highlight color... but I can be heavy handed. Either way, it's an understated elegance.

I've to ask you some questions, it's possible to get the "start here " icon? and, could you tell me which photo viewer program are you using? I mean that one in the right side of the first picture...
