A dark, nearly black GTK2 theme. Contains borderless themes for Beryl (Emerald) and Metacity.
To resize windows using borderless themes (in Gnome at least), press Alt + Middle mouse button and drag the window. If there is any interest I could add Metacity and Emerald themes with borders later. If anyone needs more color variations, just ask.
Installation:Download the package, extract it, open the folder and read the instructions file.
Info:The Emerald themes has two versions, one with OSX-like buttons and another which resembles Vista buttons. The same applies to Metacity themes.
Firefox, Gaim and Open Office have some issues with dark themes. Fixes are provided in the instructions file.
Ubuntu users: Install the package 'gtk2-engines-pixbuf' to use the theme:
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf.

0.0.4
- Added an orange GTK2 theme.
0.0.3
- Removed the GTK2 theme script and replaced with tarballs instead.
0.0.2
- Made buttons a bit easier to see.
- Window decoration buttons makes more sense.
- Added a script called color-chooser.sh which obviously adds more color variations. You need to have ImageMagick installed to use it. See the instructions.
0.0.1
- First release.
Known issues:- Problems with black text on dark background (or white on white) in some programs.
- Using larger Gnome (or Xfce) panels than 48 pixels does not look good.
- Insensitive text in menus are a bit hard to read. Same with blue link color.
- Checkboxes in Firefox may have wrong colors (but works).
- Search bar in Rhythmbox is hard to read.
Thanks to nanoflower and Neutronium for providing the basis for this theme.

the normal icons for standard features such as
Open, save,
Document as email,
export directly as pdf are all just text instead of icons
and even when i go into the appearance settings and change the interface settings to "Icons Only"
it still only displays text in openoffice

to fix this create a gtkrc-2.0 in .purple dir in your home and put the following in it:
Quote:style "Custom"
{
base[NORMAL] = "#292B29"
}
class "GtkWidget" style "Custom"
it should be no problem to adjust the bg-colour to your needs...
