Looks best with globalmenu!
______________________________________________

My current vision of gnome :)

I tried to create a futuristic yet simple environment to
work in.
______________________________________________

A HUGE thank you to every user who commented
here and helped me shape this!!!
______________________________________________

info on and download the globalmenu here:
http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/

for a wallpaper that goes with the theme:
http://staford.deviantart.com/art/Technical-Method-5971201

I will ask artist taner if he is willing
to do a wallpaper that will be the default
wallpaper of this theme
this when he gets back in about 3-4 months
or so.

0.1.1 now works without globalmenu hack
also.
should you have any problems running it with
or without it please comment :)

0.1.2 now installs as a "theme" (thanks
to harryNID for the script!)
this is the iconset it applies if installed:

0.1.3 improved menues and pcmanfm tweaks,
look at the first screenshot.

nobody reads this anyway so big deal,
fixed evolution, more integrated overall
look, changed some colors, made some new
icons, some other minor things.

Very professional. One of the best themes I ever see.

Going to be my default when finished.

Nice work.

Thanks!

If you mean the file manager on the first screenshot
then it's not nautilus, it's actually pcmanfm...

hope this answeres yout question

Very nice work, Rob!

Usually i don't like tech-like themes, or light-metal-skinned themes, but i can't wait for this theme!

Very interested!

Well done, again ;-)

Rob, any chance for a release of the GTK/WM themes soon?

It's looking great!

Any plans for a Emerald theme in addition to Metacity?

Well I don't have any estimate on when I
will be releasing this, but users seem very
interested here so I'll do my best :)

the only thing I don't like is the loading bars, they are to shiny, make it duller and more prominent as a bar and less of an indent/shadow,

Thank you all again who have criticised,
had suggestions and all the good feedback!

Glad to hear what you don't like so I
will
have a chance to fix it, however some of
the things
mentioned I don't think I will change since
some of those where actually the things
I like myself :)

About releasing all of this, like backround
,icons and so on isn't gonna happen since
I have not made them myself and I would
absolutely hate to step on any toes!

In the theme I have made everything from
scratch myself, this is not a port of
any kind.

Thanks again to all of you who commented
and gave feeback or voted , good or bad
that it was!

I like this theme!

but I always believe it is not a good idea to have a pure white background in file browser or any other application, because it is too bright to stare for long time.

This theme is really cool, I like.it.

When you finish, please put the theme with all parts: Background, Icons Theme, Theme (With metacity) and Fonts!

Inspiration definitive is an inspiration for anybody ...

¬°Saludos!

P.D: Sorry for my bad English

really looks very promising.
As somebody else already mentioned progressbars should have a different color/texture more in the mood of the all gray theme.

As always... Keep up the good job.

1) I think round slider button always was a bad idea, they are always too small for high resolution display.

2) Scrollbar arrows (up, down, left right) ... Why use arrows anyway? I don't think anyway now uses something else than the scrolling wheel.

3) I feel like this theme should not have any white at all.

4) And the check button rally needs some work :S

Everything seems to be great, but I'd like to be a different progressbar (uncoerent with the other items by me) and some changes to check and radio widgets... but the overview is always too XP VisualStyle ports... too shiny maybe, I'm not sure about this :) anyway this is a fantastic work, I like a lot the Metacity too, just keep your good work *_*

Arrows in menu seems to be strange. I'd change them asap. Everything else should be fine.

Anyway i'm waiting for first release, it would be a lot easier to catch some bugs or ideas, i'm no a big fan of image previews ;)

called artwiz... therefore it is known
as artwiz-snap, get it here.
