1- Using Tango Icon Theme
2- Using the next fonts settings:
Application font: Verdana 7pts
Desktop font: Verdana 7pts
Window title font: Bitstream Vera Sans Bold 10pts
Terminal font: Monospace 8pts
Font Rendering: Best Shapes (CRT Monitors)
Subpixel smoothing (LCD Monitors)

Note: Please use the panel_bg.png image in gtk-2.0 folder as background for the panel and move the applets that don't look nice to the bottom panel as in the screenshot :)
