Description:

Emerald theme featuring white glass look, left-button-style windeco.
I did this basically for myself so anyone feel free to modify or do anything you want with it. Crediting me would be appreciated though most f**kers won't do it. But that's ok too.

How do you get the Lucida Grande font to look so 'crisp'. With me, it looks quite ugly, very thin, not smooth.

I believe it has something to do with anti-aliasing and hinting. If not it could just be your screen resolution or the version of the font you downloaded. Try to adjust the settings for antialiasing by selecting 'None' for Hinting Style.

Inside your home directory there's a file called .fonts.conf. Open it with your favourite text editor, first make a backup of it by saving as fonts.conf.bak or whatever you like and then add this before the final </fontconfig>:

</edit>
</match>


Save it now as fonts.conf then restart your X server (Ctrl+Alt+Backspace).

Well that's how I did it. Hope it works for ya.
