A slight modification from the colors GTK suite by nale12.
This GTK is suitable for any colour flavoured desktop, while it's neutral indeed.
It is dark but yet very usable [not like many dark GTK you'd find around].
Metacity theme included.

Thank you for these beautifully theme.

I noticed that the "ETCHED_IN" state is missing for the checkbox and radio button. It can be good to add it to the theme :)

I love this theme to pieces on Ubuntu 10.04.

One slight issue however is to do with scrollbar images within Opera (10.54 Snapshot builds mainly).

When dragging the scrollbar, the image is replaced with just a black square/rectangle.

I had a look through some of the gtkrc and images trying to change a few minor bits, but to no avail.

Is there any chance of a fix on this? I doubt its an issue with Opera as it works fine on any other themes.

I really really LOVE the theme, although I have some problems with it and pidgin:

Look at the top of the window with conversation, there should be an alias of whom I talk with, and it's black on grey background, same as the name of my status in the main pidgin window. Pleeeeease fix it :)

The Widget Factory entries are in Candara 8px 100dpi.
ThePreview Title should be Calibri Caps, but I'm sorry I don't exactly remember.

Hi, I have a lil' problem, I copied the unzipped folder to /usr/share/themes and can't see the theme being displayed on the Appeareance window, any advice?

Rename the folder to its original name: 'The days of grays' , and the problem will be solved

the small size of icons is only for my applications menu, not for the resources or system menus...when i'm set any panels over 25px, i don't have it stretched but repeated...really annoying...

the 30pixel panelbg dosn't work you gotta fix the panelbackground so people that wanna use an alternate panelbg can do that.

but thats up to you.
