Description:

X11 mouse theme, clean and simple, with a smooth shape and appealing transparency. Package comes with 20 mouse themes:
5 colors (black, blue, green, orange and white)
4 sizes (small, regular, large and huge)

Take the "-LH" Links below for left-handed versions.

Gnome users might not see the "Large" version in their control panel. Workaround: edit ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/mouse/%gconf.xml to read: <stringvalue>"FlatbedCursors.White.Large"</stringvalue>.

To make them you system default cursors edit /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager to read: X_MOUSE_CURSOR="FlatbedCursors.White.Regular"

It seems RH&LH are in one archive. So Download link to LH is redundant.

I really much love the "Orange Huge" version because it is great for screencast. But I dont like the transparency of the cursor. Is there change to get officially (by you) a opaque versions or should I do myself such?

What really is so awesome at this cursor set is the amount of different sizes and especially the busy cursor (huge ball with small hole on it!)

Just downloaded this and I have to say nice work! I tried about a dozen other cursor themes before I saw this one and it is hands down the best. Keep up the good stuff!

Thanks m8, glad you like them. You are using an Apple monitor with Linux?
Tell me why you use Apple hardware to run a KDE box! You did not manage to get the Cursors running on MA X, do you?

Hi,
well go ahead and build a custom cursor set of the size you prefer, it's very simple: have ImageMagick and inkscape installed, download the sources, read README and INSTALL, edit the file CONFIG and ./install.bash.
Be aware that you might not see your new cursors (-size) in gnome, gnome supports specific cursor sizes only, read here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402656 . Well maybe it's fixed in the most recent gnome version?
Have fun

Great work! I love the colors and the style. I would like to request a light blue version though since i am unsure how to edit these cursors.

Light blue/Pastel Blue would be nice. Somewhere in the general area of these colors: #9EB7CF or #BACDE1

P.S. - a pastel red would look good too.

Hey there,
sorry for the late reply. Actually the cursor set is based on KDE4 vibrant colors, I don't want to add different colors.
But go ahead and create your custom cursor set with the desired colors. Download the sources, read README and INSTALL and ./install.bash (have imagemagick and inkscape installed). It's very simple.
Have fun.

I love the theme too, but when I load a webpage the pointer with the hourglass from ANOTHER theme loads instead of the one from your theme. I had the same problem with different colors and different sizes.

which browser is it and which desktop (Gnome/KDE/...)?

I am running Ubuntu Dapper with Gnome. The browser that this happened with was Firefox. I clicked on a link to load a page and my default pointer theme's busy arrow was visable.

Close the browser completely. I just noticed the problem then realized it was fixed after I closed the browser and started it back up again.

DOH!!! Talk about impatience. I should have done that. All works fine after I restarted the browser. I love this theme. Thanks!!!!!!!
